Narke John G. “JAY” Narke, on March 25, 2015, of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, formally of Ambler, Pa. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Wesley-Farmer) for 22 years, predeceased in 1988 by his first wife, Patricia (nee Ryan) Narke, devoted father of John (Peggy) and Sharon (Frank) Labbree, stepfather of James (Trish), and Craig Farmer. Proud grandfather “Jaja” of Michelle (Phil), Matt, Kevin, and Sarah, loving son of Winifred, dear brother of Judith (William), James (Linda), and Susan (Richard), brother in law of Annamarie & James, William & Gloria, Joseph & Diane, favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jay courageously fought his battle against Pancreatic Cancer and passed away peacefully with his family at his side. His first love was spending time with family and friends, and he had a special way of always making people feel at ease. He was an avid Catch and Release Bass fisherman, winning many tournaments throughout his life, a die hard Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers fan, never missing a game, and he enjoyed shooting pool with his new pool cue, a gift from his brother. Jay was also a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 8:30 AM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 425 Lyceum Ave., Rox. And to participate in his funeral mass 10 AM at St John the Baptist Church, 119 Rector Street. Int Private.
