Condolences to Chuck's family. I will miss his smiling face here at Keystone Hospice.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Chuck at Keystone Hospice.
He was volunteering as was I.
I came once a week on Thursdays to play piano for the the residents (and staff) and Chuck sat at the piano and sang.
He had a lovely voice, and we gradually worked up a repertoire of songs he loved to sing.
I even learned "Sweet Lorraine", a song he cherished because it is the name of his beloved wife, whom he adored.
We both looked forward every week to our "sessions", and he was so good I kept teasing by saying he should take it on the road.
I will miss him so much. He was a wonderful, sweet man, with a sparkle in his eye and great sense of humor.
My sympathy goes out to the family.

My Great Uncle Chuck had a profound, however indirect affect on my life, and that of my whole immediate family. Uncle Chuck inspired my Dad, Bill Wesley, to become interested in joining the Navy while still in high school. Upon graduating, Dad enlisted and made a career of the Navy, becoming a ‘brown shoe’ and spending 23 years in the service. The spark that Uncle Chuck lit in Dad’s heart and mind took our family from coast to coast and through many adventures.
God bless, Uncle Chuck. Rest in peace.
