William G. “Bill” Tims, 83, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2020 at Suburban Woods Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Bill was born July 1, 1936 in Philadelphia to Harry and Ethel (nee Everett) Tims. He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings. Due to health issues, many of his childhood years were spent at St. Edmonds Home which were the root of many stories. He loved baseball and coached hundreds of kids over the years in Wissahickon AA, Roxborough AA, and the Pendel 21st Ward Hawks.

He is survived by his beloved wife Cathi (nee Winchester) children William G. (Roxanne) Tims Jr., Margaret Godleski, Kathleen (Frank) D'Intino, and Doreen (Harry) Schmitt, grandchildren Kelli (Steve) Horvat, Michael D'Intino, Danielle D'Intino, Justin Mingle, Kyla Tims, Will Tims, Ian Schmitt and Liam Schmitt, great grandchildren Kara Leigh and Stephen Horvat and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be on Saturday May 15 th 2021, 12:30pm at Westminster Cemetery.
