Steven will always be remembered for his faithfulness to Almighty God and his humble nature! Despite the pain and suffering that he endured during the last several years, his Faith was unshakable! And he demonstrated what it means to be a Spiritual Warrior day in and day out! And although he would say he was fighting the good fight he never complained about anything! And in my humble opinion not only did he win the fight he also won the war! And it was my greatest privilege to have spent the last two and a half years praying together with him twice a day! And sharing the love with each other brought me great joy! Steven was a powerful prayer partner, a loving brother, and a great friend. But more importantly he was a pure blessing to everyone who had the good fortune to know him! There were so many beautiful people whose lives were touched as a result of his lifelong illnesses! And no matter what he was going through he always had time to share his wisdom and knowledge with whoever God placed in his life at any given time! And there is no question in the minds of many that God used Steven as an instrument of his love to introduce others to the beauty of what life must be like spent beneath God’s powerful and mighty wings! Yes, Steven’s passing was very peaceful and in many ways a blessing for him because there is no more pain and no more suffering! And so it is! Steven did tell me that he wanted everyone who was praying for him to know how grateful he is for your loving act of kindness! And so, on behalf of our entire family, we thank you all for sharing in the remembrance of Steven and celebrating the great memories we all have of him! May God continue to bless you all and all of your intentions and your ministries! And may the peace of God which transcends all understanding be with you all! Amen!

He was amazing! We were so blessed to know him and break bread together in Bluffton with Carol and David. He was there for us with our grandson Connor when he was in the 1st grade at St. Gregory’s. Steven would go in and observe offering his expertise as to what Connor needed to succeed. We had many good times with him. He was a gentle man. Always smiling, always thinking of.others. I am glad he’s dancing on the streets of gold! He is our saint in heaven! St. Steven, pray for us
