Obituary of Joan Marie Bullick

Joan M. (nee Young) Bullick died peacefully on January 1, 2023.
Born and raised in Manayunk, Joan was a 1948 graduate of St. John the Baptist High School. She spent much of her early years with her cousins Babe, Bill and Kass Miles. Joan worked at “the Bell” (Telephone) where she made many life long friends. After meeting Bob, her husband of 64 years, she moved to Andorra where they raised their four children and were long time parishioners of Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Joan worked many years for Germantown Savings Bank, where she started as a part time telephone operator and worked her way to accounting before retiring in 1992. She and Bob retired to their “shack by the bay” in Tuckerton until they decided their home in Andorra was where they wanted to be. Joan was a longtime member of the IHM Golden Age Club and frequently ran the trips to the casinos for group. Recently, Bob and Joan moved to Spring Mill Pointe in Lafayette Hill. Joan enjoyed her visits from her grand and great-grandchildren.
Survived by her husband Robert Bullick, her loving children Lisa Fallon, Karen (Anthony) Trainer, Robert J., and Christopher M. (Suzanne) Bullick. She was a grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 4.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday 9:30 AM and to participate in her funeral mass 11 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 815 Cathedral Road, Phila. Int Westminster Cemetery. Donations in Joan's name to the Friends of St John the Baptist, 146 Rector St., Phila., Pa 19127, would be appreciated by her family.
